There are lots of paintball tactics for stuff that happens during the game, but I'd like to talk about what to do before the game starts.
It is incredibly important to have a gameplan prior to the horn blowing. Here are some things you need to do:
-Plan who will be doing what: Flag-defenders, flankers, forward and back players.
-Any signals or special words for communicating?
-Walk the field: what position will you take first? Where do you think the enemy will likely go?
-Where will you likely go next and where could you possibly fall back to?
-Any ideal traps?
-Are there good/bad bunkers and what are likely scenarios that could happen at them?
-Make sure your hopper and ball carriers are topped up and you have enough air!
When the horn does finally go off, its time to run to the furthest one first and go from there. KNOW WHERE YOU AND YOUR TEAMMATES ARE GOING.
Any other before-the-game tips or pre-game paintball tactics that you have?
